Class, workshop & retreat Offerings

The Usui System of Reiki is the original system as it was handed down through Mikao Usui.  Usui was the samurai monk who discovered Reiki on a 21 day vision quest.  Usui called Reiki, "The secret art of inviting happiness."  Here at Willow Stick, we strive to teach the most pure form of the original Reiki system as possible. 

We teach Reiki in the original 3 levels.  Level one, Shoden,  gives you the skills to practice Reiki on yourself.  In the second level, Okuden, you will learn how to apply the practice to others.  For an exponential expansion of the practice, you will receive the master symbol in Level 3.  The work at this level does not make you a "Reiki Master."  But, you are given tools to magnify the effects of Reiki.  

NEW:  A "Reiki Master" is someone who has taught and attuned at least one other person to the art of Reiki.  We have now established  a Reiki Master Teacher Training  (Shinpiden) that will involve 4 months of study and apprenticeship.  Contact us for more details.

 A Vision Quest is a rite of passage in many cultures around the planet.   It can be an experience that will help you identify, clarify or confirm the future path for your life.  It may be a time of healing or of rediscovering your inner peace.  You may resolve an internal conflict or gain insight into external struggles. 

There are 5 preparatory classes prior to the actual Quest.  We teach you how to make the most of your Quest experience. 

After the classes, you will spend 2 days and 2 nights at our special retreat space, Sandilea.  You will be fasting.  You will participate in your Quest experience in the way that is most meaningful to you.  

Don't worry.... There will be Quest facilitators nearby in the unlikely event you need something.

We hold spring and a fall Vision Quests each year.  If you want to know more, please contact us for an appointment to discuss your readiness for this experience.

Some of these include The Prayer Bead & Rosary Creation Workshop, Oracle Card Reading classes and others.  We love to teach.  So, if we get an idea, we create the class.  Recently, we have added a cacao ceremony and a winter women's retreat based on requests.  We are very open to the ideas of others. 

We have welcomed many guest speakers & trainers in the past.  These include people presenting on varied topics such as Numerology, Auricular Acupuncture, Homeopathic Remedies, Angelic Communication, Working with Gem Stones, and many others.  If you have a specialty you would like to present here in our space, let us know.  We would love to talk to you.
